Bmore Technology Named to the Baltimore Business Journal’s 2026 Fast 50

Bmore Technology has been named to the Baltimore Business Journal 2026 Fast 50, the BBJ’s annual recognition of the fastest-growing private companies in the Baltimore region. Honorees are selected through an independent editorial review, and the final rankings will be unveiled at the Fast 50 and Fire Awards on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront.

For a managed services provider, growth is a byproduct rather than a goal. Clients stay when tickets get resolved, when projects land on schedule, and when someone picks up the phone during the worst hour of their week. Bmore Technology has spent more than twenty years building the operating discipline behind that experience, with dedicated functional teams for support services, professional services, technical alignment, centralized services and escalation, and vCIO advisory work, backed by documentation standards that keep knowledge inside the company rather than inside one person’s head.

Founded in 2004 and veteran-owned, Bmore Technology is led by CEO James Merritt, a U.S. Army veteran, and EVP Steve Sexton. The company operates from its Maryland headquarters in Nottingham, serving clients from Harford County to Frederick County and into Northern Virginia, and from a South Carolina office in Pawleys Island, opened in 2009, serving the Lowcountry and Grand Strand from Charleston to Myrtle Beach. The team of 18 includes 16 people with technical training or technical backgrounds.

“We have never been interested in looking like a great MSP. We have focused on building one,” said James Merritt, CEO of Bmore Technology. “This list measures growth, and growth in our business is what happens when clients stay. That is the part we are proud of.”

The Fast 50 follows back-to-back recognition on the MSP 501 by Informa in 2025 and 2026, a global ranking of top-performing managed service providers based on financial strength, recurring revenue, and operational execution.

Bmore Technology provides managed IT services and support, cybersecurity, cloud services, data backup and disaster recovery, vendor management, and communications to organizations across Maryland, South Carolina, and the surrounding regions. Learn more at bmoretechnology.com.
